The Sandrock is one of Clactons most respected guest houses with 9 rooms all en suite. Double, Twin and Family rooms available, one twin room at ground floor level. The Sandrock is a detached VictorianEdwardian House built of soft red bricks and sandstone piers. There is a wide central staircase with two handrails to the first floor.All rooms have en suite shower rooms with towels and complimentary toiletries supplied. All rooms are serviced every day. All rooms have a TVDVD player, radio alarm clock, bedside lamps tea,coffee and hot chocolate making facilities. Free WiFi broadband in all rooms.The Sandrock is non smoking, an ash bin is provided in the open front porch. We have a guest only lounge with TV, books and family games. Each room has a folder with a map of town, a list of places to eat and places to visit with bus routes to suit.You can rest easy in the knowledge that our high standards of accommodation will afford you a comfortable stay.

Directions

From the M25 exit Junction 28 onto the A12 North exit the A 12 at Junction 28 onto the A120 or (A12 South from Ipswich exit Junction 29 onto the A120). After approx 6 miles exit onto the A133 to Clacton-on-Sea. Follow the road signs to The Sea Front. turn right drive onto the traffic lights (by the Pier) then over the first mini roundabout then first right into Penfold Road. The Sandrock will be on your left. If you have a Sat Nav ignore it once you see signs to the Sea Front and follow the above.
